Leon Balogun who was included in Super Eagles’ squad for the clash sustained an injury which has ruled him out.

Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun will miss the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zambia due to injury.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will travel to Zambia to face the Chipolopolo in the match-day one of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Balogun who was included in Super Eagles’ squad for the clash sustained an injury which has ruled him out.
The 28-year-old defender suffered a muscle strain in FSV Mainz's 3-2 home loss to Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday, September 24.
The injury has ruled him out of FSV Mainz’s two next games and the World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
Balogun took to Twitter to express his disappointment over his injury but assured fans that he will back in action as soon as possible.
“Not delighted about my injury at all! It's part of the game though. Good thing about it, I'll be back real soon,” he wrote on Twitter.
This is the second time an injury will be ruling him out for a Super Eagles game this year.
He missed out on the double header clash against Egypt in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in March 2016.
The defender made his Super Eagles debut in March 2014 and has eight appearances so far.
