Israel Houghton is the perfectly happy and proud dad, after his eldest daughter, Mariah, got married recently.

20 year old Mariah and Byron Rideaux, her 22 year old groom tied the knot, and Israel proudly shared the cute pictures on his Instagram page.
The
Grammy-award–winning gospel act expressed how proud of his daughter he
is when he posted a picture of them together [above] and captioned it
thus;
“Did I mention how proud I am of this young woman [Mariah Houghton]? Beautiful bride [and Byron Rideaux.]"
Posting yet another picture of Mariah sharing the father-daughter wedding dance in his arms, he emotionally wrote.
“What an extreme privilege to dance with my daughter [Mariah Houghton] last night. She is now married and off to her honeymoon.
"Happier
than I've ever seen her. Thanks to [Byron Rideaux] - a good young man.
Cheers to the new happy couple! The world is Yours! #LaVieEnRideau”
Israel
was obviously really happy for his young daughter as he posted yet
another photo of the bride and the groom, admiring and commending them
for how they went about the celebration in a godly manner.
"To the happy bride and groom!!!!! Cheers!!!!
"So
proud of [Mariah Houghton] & [Byron Rideaux] for tying the knot in
such a beautiful, meaningful, worshipful and intimate setting. I love
the way they honor God in all they do." he wrote.
Mariah is Israel's
first child with his ex-wife, Meleasa to who he was married for about 20
years before they divorced earlier in the year 2016.
In the same vein as Houghton's daughter's wedding, fellow gospel singer Kirk Franklin also gave out his daughter's hand in marriage recently.
There apparently seems to be a lot of romance in the air, right?
We wish all the newly-weds nothing short of the best in their married lives.
