Police chief vows to arrest officers promoting politician's campaign

William McManus, the head of San Antonio Police has told his minions to desist from patronising Trump while wearing their uniform.
William McManus, a San Antonio Police Chief has vowed to arrest any officer who wears Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" cap while in an official dress.

McManus stated this in a statement released via his Twitter, stating that the officers showed a poor sense of judgment.

"I expect them to know better than to give the appearance of endorsing a candidate while on duty and in uniform, regardless of the political campaign or the candidate," he said.

Attorney Andrew Segovia has also waded in on Trump's campaign ethics after it was reported that he specially thanked police officers who escorted him to the airport.

Segovia sent a letter to the US presidential aspirant addressing the matter.

"We make the request because similar security is provided to all political candidates,"

"Impartiality and neutrality with respect to the person being protected is essential to effectively carrying out their role as assigned security," he wrote.
